Malaysia’s Doctor2U App Launches Medication Delivery Service

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 25 (Bernama) — Malaysian healthcare technology platform, Doctor2u, together with BP Healthcare Group and Lovy Pharmacy have launched a medication delivery service, first of its kind in Malaysia.

Under the partnership, customers are now able to place orders for prescribed medications and have it delivered to their doorstep via the Doctor2U application (app).

“We want to provide a fast, reliable and convenient way for customers to order and refill their medications,” said Doctor2U Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer Keegan Flynn in a statement today.

He said the latest service was another step of making Doctor2U a one-stop platform in bringing health related-services to customers.

The statement said the app was developed to be user-friendly, thus, making it easier for the customers to place orders.

A customer only have to take pictures of the prescription and information on the slip will be sent to BP Healthcare and Lovy Pharmacy for verification.

Doctor2U offers three types of delivery – Quick Delivery, Normal Delivery and Self Pick-up.

For Quick Delivery, Fast Track, a speed delivery of medication within three hours, can be requested. However, this service is only available within the Klang Valley.

Besides the medication delivery service, Doctor2U also offers free doctors’ consultation via webcam for its customers.

Doctor2u app is available for free download on both iOS- and Android-based phones.
