Johan Sammy is known to go against the norm. With the rise of disruptive technology and mobility start-ups,  sustainable urban mobility has become a subject that is close to his heart and he is passionate about taking cities in ASEAN to the next level in urban mobility.​

​For the past 5 years, Johan has been working with city governments across the Southeast Asia to study and understand the mobility trends and user behaviour in various cities, using technology as a platform to improve people’s lives in urban settings. He has successfully launched shared mobility services in Cyberjaya, Penang, Shah Alam, Chiangmai, Bangkok and Singapore.​
